Telling stories is one of my absolute favorite pastimes. Over the course of my education and career, I have been lucky enough to create a variety of written stories across several different mediums, including screenplays, video games, essays, and more. Here is a collection of some of my favorite pieces of written content.
Pussy Boy
Original Screenplay - Dark Comedy
A popular professional football mascot is forced to confront his dark past when one of his high school bullies unexpectedly reenters his life, sending him on a murderous rampage to wreak vengeance on his enemies.
Grandma Green In-Game Text
A full collection of the narrative content I wrote for Grandma Green, a cute gardening app that features a cast of adorable "plant golems" that live in Grandma's garden.
WRITING SAMPLES
"Footloose"
Severance Spec Episode (Season 1)
After Helly R (once again) pushes the boundaries of her work, she is met with a new and unique punishment: The White Room. Mark and Dylan embark on a quest to find out what the room entails while Irving and Burt make a disturbing discovery about Ms. Cobel.
Not So Lucky Penny Opening & Closing Cutscenes
Scripts for the opening and closing scenes of Not So Lucky Penny, an original game idea about a penny and his fellow coin friends adventuring into the human world. I spent several months developing the story and gameplay in my "Character Development & Storytelling for Games" class.
The White Lotus
2 Scenes from an original Season 3
Set in the beautiful paradise of the Maldives, a cast of classic characters from Seasons 1 and 2 joins a handful of new faces. Scene 1 focuses on a typical moment between Shane and Rachel, while Scene 2 features an interaction between 2 entirely new individuals while retaining the tone of the series.
Oopz-Oofz In-Game Text
Complete collection of the narrative content I wrote for Oopz-Oofs, a thesis project in which John, a money-hungry man in his 20s, unexpectedly switches bodies with Cole, his energetic, mischievous pet border collie.
